The lake is at the bottom of the basin and the forest is above it, and a weekend is exactly enough time to go from one to the other and back.
Friday is the drive up and the settling in. Saturday is the forest and the village. Sunday is the descent, with the whole basin visible on the way down.
Group size is six because the mountain households are small.

Saturday: forest and village
Morning Walk into the forest above the village. Late Morning Village work with the household. Evening Dinner. Night Homestay, second night. -
DAY03
Sunday: down to the lake
Morning Breakfast and a last village walk. Late Morning Descend to Phayao town. Afternoon Free time at the lake. TBD — transport times must be confirmed.
