In Nan the harvest and the festival are the same week. Families cut, thresh and eat, and the merit-making and visiting happen alongside.
A weekend here is deliberately flexible because the village decides on the day whether the schedule is cutting or cooking, and the programme follows that decision.
The result is a weekend that looks nothing like a scheduled one, which is the reason to come.

Harvest and festival
Early Morning In the field or the threshing ground, per the village decision. Late Morning The festival side: merit-making, cooking, visiting. Afternoon Shared food with the whole village. Evening Long dinner. Night Homestay, second night. -
DAY03
Sunday and return
Morning Breakfast, pack slowly. Late Morning Return to Nan. Afternoon Departure. TBD — transport times must be confirmed.
