Lampang pottery is made without a potter's wheel. It is thrown or shaped by hand against a turning base, and the chicken motif came from a Chinese dish the founder liked.
A day in a village pottery covers wedging, shaping, drying, firing and glazing, which in practice means two days of work spread over a week of drying.
You will be allowed to shape something. It will not be sold and it may not survive the kiln, which the potters will tell you before you start.

Morning Travel to the pottery village. Late Morning Clay preparation and throwing with a potter. Afternoon Glazing and a walk round the village, return to Lampang. TBD — return time must be confirmed.
